小白鸽

今年暑假我和妈妈回了外婆家，大舅养了五只鸽子，我最喜欢小白鸽。

This summer vacation my mother and I went back to my grandmother's house. My uncle raised five pigeons. I like little pigeons best.

小白鸽的毛是洁白的，只有翅膀底下有点黑的，它的毛非常光滑，像绸缎一样。它的眼睛是红红的，一双爪子也是红红的，还有尖尖的可爱的小嘴。它走路时，头有节奏的一伸一缩。

The hair of the little white dove is white, only there is a little black under the wings. Its hair is very smooth, like silk. Its eyes are red, a pair of claws are red, and a sharp cute mouth. When it walks, it stretches and contracts its head rhythmically.

小白鸽最爱吃玉米。我捧来一捧玉米洒在院子里，小白鸽最聪明，最先跑来吃。有一粒大的玉米，它怎么也啄不起来，但是它不放弃，使劲啄，终于把这粒大玉米啄起来了，侧着头，津津有味地吃着，引来其他鸽子也来吃。

Little white doves like corn best. I took a handful of corn and sprinkled it in the yard. The pigeon was the cleverest and the first to eat. There is a big corn, it can't pick it up, but it doesn't give up. It pecks hard. Finally, it pecks up the big corn, heads on its side, eats with relish, and attracts other pigeons to eat.

最有趣的是，我居然看见它老跟在一只灰鸽子后面，不停地“咕咕咕——”叫，还转圈圈，好像是在一边唱歌一边跳舞……妈妈说：“它是在求偶。”

The most interesting thing is that I saw him always following a grey pigeon, calling and circling, as if he was singing and dancing Mom said, "it's courting."

这只小白鸽真是太可爱了。
