我学会溜冰了

“噢，我学会溜冰啦！”我高兴又激动地叫起来。快听我讲讲吧！

"Oh, I learned to skate!" I cried with joy and excitement. Listen to me!

在我过生日的时候，在公园的溜冰场里我看见好多小朋友身轻如燕地在滑冰，姿势非常潇洒，我好生羡慕。

On my birthday, in the park skating rink, I saw a lot of children skating as light as a swallow, with very natural posture, which I envy.

于是我让妈妈给我买了一双溜冰鞋做为我的生日礼物。妈妈说：“为了祝贺你生日，而且你小姨找了一份好工作，双喜临门，收拾好东西，去饭店吃饭，快点！”

So I asked my mother to buy me a pair of skates as my birthday present. Mother said: "in order to congratulate your birthday, and your little aunt found a good job, double happiness, pack up, go to the restaurant to eat, hurry up!"

在饭店门口，我跳下车，就急不可待地朝妹妹炫耀了一番。妹妹俏皮地说：“好哥哥，给我滑一个吧，求你了”。我想“我自己还不会呢！”，我赶紧找借口说；“今天我的脚扭伤了。”于是，我佯装一瘸一拐地走开了。

At the door of the hotel, I jumped out of the car and showed off to my sister. The younger sister said playfully: "good brother, slide one for me, please.". I thought, "I can't do it myself!" Today, I sprained my foot So I pretended to limp away.

吃饭的时候，我暗想“明天，我一定要苦练，不能给我这个当哥哥的丢脸”。

During the meal, I thought to myself, "tomorrow, I must practice hard, and I can't lose face to my brother.".

第二天，我手忙脚乱地吃完饭，就去练滑冰了。到了溜冰场，我穿上溜冰鞋不有自主地滑了几脚，突然身子一仰摔了下去，哎，差点要成脑震荡了。

我坐在椅子上看着他们滑，不久，我就发现了一个秘密，在起步的时候把脚撇成“八”叉形，利用惯性向前滑。

I sat in my chair and watched them slide. Before long, I found a secret. When I started, I turned my feet into "eight" forks and used inertia to slide forward.

我起身又滑了滑，没想我也学会了。那天，我不仅学会了一个本领，也知道了一个道理，那就是“熟能生巧”。

I got up and slipped again. I didn't think I learned. That day, I not only learned a skill, but also learned a truth: practice makes perfect.
